We didn't have time and didn't use the swimming pool so can't comment. Water gardens was 2 km away from the venue.
-
The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed the pool. Located 2 km away from Sigiriya Museum. Would recommend to others.
-
Excellent service, beautiful area, delicious breakfast.
Insects.

It's a very interesting hotel.
Cold pool, view is gorgeous!!
-
The room faced the pool. Milis Restaurant, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining.
-
The staff was friendly. Place was quiet and clean. Designed to feel like a village. There was a spa as well as bike rentals we did not take advantage of those options.
-
Good place for relaxation ,staying there is a transition to urban and country side atmosphere
1- recurrence of ac problem during my 3 days stay , sleeping was miracle. 2- toilet has no hoose instead it has a buckle for washing. 3- No lcd tv 4- No wi fi 5- food between fare and resentment 6- Not much privacy , widowas curtains has spaces allowing ouside to see. 7- very remote. 8- price is high comparing to the room quality 9- double charge was made to my visa card by Booked.net mistake and the mony has not refunded

Perfect staff, good lunches, amazing surroundings.
-
Good location, very hand for rock, and fantastic views. Pool looked nice but raining so not used by us.
Room could do with updating and new linen and bedding. The service from staff was slow & poor communication.
-
Super location close to the rock with comfortable facilities. Swimming pool, garden and dining area, have view on the rock. Food was excellent and cottage style rooms are pleasant.
WIFI internet connection via pre-paid cards did not work. First cards were sold-out and then the connection turned-out to be horribly slow. Apart from this annoying fact, everything was perfectly well organized.
-
Nice surroundings and good accommodation. Food was pretty good with good local options.
Wildlife guide was a bit of a joke. Costs way too much and he didn't know that much. Pool attendants were a bit stern. Wouldn't say it was brilliant value for money. Not sure how much it lived up to it's green credentials.
-
The room we had was perfect for our needs and in a beautiful garden setting. Very relaxing and great proximity to Sigiriya Rock.
It caters a lot for large tour groups - which can make things noisy in the dining area, but that was only a minor set back as the Village is so large.
-
Nature friendly, wonderful environment
Timing of Check out is not really matching. Since it is 12.00 noon, visitors cannot enjoy lunch (be ready by 12.30 P.M. onwards). Hence check out time to be really changed to 2.30 P.M. around to match with lunch timing.

We liked the whole property, a concept built on a village. The restaurant ambience is good. Nothing luxury as such, but the feel good factor definitely existed during our very brief stay- one night only.
Price of course - rates are high. Not much choice for vegetarians.
-
The grounds of the village were well maintained and contributed to the overall ambience of the hotel
The rooms were very dark and the decor dated and a little past their use by date. Windows should be fitted with flyscreens to keep the mosies at bays. The pool and outdoor furniture needs updating and the restaurant lacks sufficient lighting.
